What is PCB? This article will take you through the types and processes of printed circuit boards

All electronic products must use printed circuit boards (PCBS) to fix integrated circuits (ics) and other electronic components (such as resistors, capacitors, and inductors), and connect all integrated circuits and electronic components with different functions with thin copper wires to provide a stable working environment and allow electronic signals to flow between different electronic components.

Types of printed circuit boards

Single panel: With a single plastic plate as the base plate, pcb stackup calculatorintegrated circuit (ic) and other electronic components concentrated on one side, copper wire concentrated on the other side, as shown in Figure 2(a). A single panel can do a small amount of copper wire, and only early circuit boards will be used.

Double sided board: With a single piece of plastic plate as the base plate, the copper wire is made on the positive and negative control of two different surfaces of the bottom plate, and a perforation (Via) is drilled so that the copper wire from the front can pass through the plastic plate to the back of the society, so that the copper wire between the positive and negative comparison of the two surfaces can interact and connect, 1 oz vs 2 oz as shown in Figure 2 (b), used in the enterprise comparison and analysis of complex circuits.

Multilayer board: A wire structure made of two surfaces of multiple double panels, one of which is an insulating layer (plastic material) and the other is bonded into multiple layers of copper conductors, as shown in Figure 2(C). Multilayer boards can produce the largest number of copper wires for use in more complex circuits. At present, most of the host boards used by computers are eight-layer boards, because there are too many components, and generally small electronic products, such as mobile phones and tablets, need at least eight layers of boards due to their small size. The smaller the electronic components and volume of the product, the more circuit boards are usually required.
