Applicants who meet one of the scoring requirements under the Achievement-based Points Scoring System (APPS) or the General Points Scoring System (GPS) can apply to the Immigration Department.

Hong Kong High Achiever Scheme

It aims to attract top talents with rich working experience and high academic qualifications from around the world to explore opportunities in Hong Kong. These top talents include high salary earners and graduates from the world's top 100 universities.

You may apply if you fulfill one of the following three categories of talent development requirements.

Category A: Annual salary of HK$2.5 million (or equivalent in foreign currency) or above in the year preceding the date of application, with no quota and no restriction on academic qualifications;

Category B: Bachelor's degree graduates from the top 100 universities in the world from the four designated World University Ranking Lists, with at least 3 years of cumulative working experience in the past 5 years, no quota;

Category C: Bachelor's degree holders from the top 100 global universities but with less than 3 years of work experience in the past 5 years, subject to a ceiling of 10,000 per year.
